The reigning queen of Bollywood, Katrina Kaif , after breaking away from her cute Barbie doll image via NEW YORK, is on way to put up another superb display of histrionics in Rajkumar Santoshi’s AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI, where she stars opposite teenage heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.
If sources are to be believed Katrina Kaif is not just a pretty face in the unusual love story but her character is very complex. She plays a nerd, a complete geek, similar to her favourite co-star Akshay Kumar’s nerd act in JAAN-E-MANN. Katrina essays the role of a very sensitive girl who over-reacts to situations and gets troubled by very small things. Naturally, through her behaviour she makes people laugh, who find her funny. Katrina admits that this is one of a kind role, the sort not delved into by many and that she was trained into doing this kind of comedy by none other than the captain of the ship, the director Rajkumar Santoshi.
Well, this sure makes AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI more interesting and one of the many reasons to check out the comeback vehicle of one of the best directors of the nineties, who was instrumental in Sunny Deol winning his only National award via DAMINI.
