What happens when a girl who has worked in 20 odd movies is paired with a boy who has just 1 film to his credit? Well, though one expects quite some ’khalbali’, that was not really the case on the sets of KHALLBALLI - FUN ULIMITED where South sensation Sadaa Sayed came face to face with Nikhil Dwivedi who has only film to his credit - MY NAME IS ANTHONY GONSALVES.
"Really, it didn’t matter if Nikhil had done only movie before KHALLBALLI", says Sadaa who herself has at least a couple of more Hindi films lined up in months to come, "I don’t really think much about who is the actor paired opposite me. Of course whom I work with is important but it is not be all of everything. What is important is that the production of the film has to be good, it should be promoted well and then released on time."
Going back into the past, Sadaa reveals, "Even in South when I had worked with Vikram on ANNIYAN which was a superhit, my next movie was with an absolute newcomer. What matters most is the film’s output. Ab film hit hogi ya nahi is not something that any one of us can predict so there is no point fretting much over whether you co-star is new or established."
She has chosen to make an unconventional Bollywood debut in a film that comes with a USP of having 32 comic actors together. Doesn’t she fear that she may loose out in the bargain?
"I don’t quite strategize much while signing for a film. God forbid, even if the film fails, I will continue to stand by it", replies Sadaa.
