Superstar Akshay Kumar is deeply into the number game nowadays. He wants his films to release on numerologically auspicious dates.
The upcoming animation film Jumbo , in which Akshay has lent his voice to the character of an elephant, was initially slated to release on December 18, but the actor had it postponed by a week to December 25 despite the fact that Aamir Khan ’s Ghajini is releasing on the same day.
The reason for this postponement is that the date 25 adds upto 7, which Akshay considers highly auspicious.
Not just this, Akshay’s Chandni Chowk To China is set to hit the marquee on January 16, which also adds upto 7.
In fact, the movie was slated to premiere in Los Angeles on January 8, but Akshay asked the producers to pre-pone it by a day to January 7.
Moreover, folks in the industry believe that Akshay’s new acting fee, which is a staggering amount, also sums up as number 7.
Well, considering Akshay’s huge appeal at the box-office, we don’t think he needs any luck. May be it’s luck that needs Akki.
