It’s common news that Katrina Kaif has taken over brand ambassadorship of a popular diamond jewellery. It was Aishwarya Rai who endorsed the brand to the T till Kat walked by. However, Katrina doesn’t like to be termed as a ‘replacement of Ash’. She says, “I don’t think it is necessary for me to say that I am taking over or replacing anyone. I’d like it if people look at whatever little I have achieved or whatever I am working towards, as something I have done as an individual.” She further added, “They have done a wonderful job as a brand and had a successful inning with Aishwarya. I completely trust their choice.”
Whilst the news of Ash being replaced is rife, Abhishek Bachchan in an interview stated that it was his wife who walked out of the deal and not the other way round. To this, Katrina says, “In the past few months, people are getting a little bit excited about creating controversies. All I can say is that I am the new brand ambassador.”
She also broke her silence on the long ensuing debate on whether or not she will has actually broken all professional ties with Salman Khan. Kat informed, “I go by the script and the film. If everything goes well, in all probability I will been doing something with Sohail Khan Productions.”
This piece of information comes as a surprise since post the SRK-Sallu fiasco, Katrina was heard saying that she is all set to severe on professional ties with her beau. Then there were rumours that Katrina has backed out of Shah Rukh Khan’s world tour, Temptations Reloaded. However, looks like neither is true. An exasperated Katrina says, “It’s funny how people have brought this up. I think the Morani’s (the tour organizers) themselves have said that they are waiting for our dates to work out. Anyway, I love stage shows and dancing. It is something I discovered in the last two years.”
This highly professional lady is also all gung ho about her forthcoming release, Singh Is Kinng. Since the latest trend to promote one’s film is by appearing on a television show, hearsay is that Katrina will opt for the same. Nevertheless, she will not feature in Sallu’s Dus Ka Dum. We wonder if it is going to Khatron Ke Khiladi then.
