The forthcoming reality show Dance Premiere League has already been generating some curiosity, but there’s some very interesting news - we hear friends-turned-foes Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have both been approached to be a part of the show.
Danish Khan, VP marketing, Sony, said in print that, ‘It’s too early to talk about specific stars. We have approached many actors and are still deciding on the names.’ When asked about these two stars specifically, he said, ‘I can’t comment at this stage. It’s better if you wait for a formal announcement.’
A source said that, “SRK and Salman have been approached already. Katrina, Bipasha, Kareena and Prabhudeva will be the other participants in the show.” Katrina Kaif, however, clarified: ’I have not been approached for any reality show.’
So that’s the story. But the question is, even if they have been approached, will these two Bollywood bigwigs agree to appear on a show together after their infamous spat last year? The two had a falling-out at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party, when the underlying hostility between them bubbled up and they took potshots at each other. Their common friends Farah Khan and Rani Mukherjee have tried, unsuccessfully, to reconcile the two actors. Maybe Dance Premier League will do the job, or maybe viewers will get to see a different kind of fireworks on the show.
