Though the film is going still strong making new chart records, Magadheera isn’t free from some controversy or the other. The film which stars Ram Charan Teja, Telugu mega star Chiranjeevi’s son, is in trouble again.
There was a short circuit incident in Vijayanagaram district in which 5 film enthusiasts died and then there were stampede incidents in theatres by Chiranjeevi fans. Magadheera producers had to provide 11 lakhs as compensation to the affected.
Now, the story has taken a political shade, with the Congress Party decides to ban the film in the state.
Praja Rajyam party leader Gymnassium Ravi criticizes this and informs “This is nothing but a political conspiracy to restrict Chiranjeevi’s growing popularity and his son who has become a star in the Telugu film industry”.
Looks like, the film is getting too much attention, both positive and negative. Magadheera is doing very well in both national and international theatres.
