Evergreen star Govinda has agreed to complete his comedy “Showman”, with Director Tigmanshu Dhulia after a long time.
Govinda relented and agreed to complete the London-based comedy, which also stars Celina Jaitley and Rimi Sen. The film was pending since Govinda suddenly left London in the midst of the shooting.
The director, anxious to somehow complete his tragic comedy, agreed to Govinda’s terms and conditions including changing the film’s title to “Showman” from “King Con”.
“The film is now called ‘Showman’ as it originally was. I’ve also deleted the portions Govinda objected to from a song in London featuring the Queen’s lookalike. I’ve 50 minutes of edited footage. Govinda will now shoot the rest of the film from Jan 12,” Dhulia said.
