After having gushed over Aishwarya Rai on numerous occasions, news in Bollywood suggests that Hollywood superstar Will Smith is now heading to India to act in Hindi films.
The actor has been hush hush trips to Mumbai to meet with various production houses and see how he can take his Bollywood dreams further.
“Ever since Will heard about Danny’s film Slumdog Millionaire that he has shot in Mumbai with Anil Kapoor, he was quite excited. In fact he has been in touch with Danny regularly and was introduced to Anil Kapoor through him as well,” informs an aide of Anil Kapoor.
He adds that Anil Kapoor has offered a film to Danny Boyle for his production house which will be shot completely in India and will star Kapoor. And news suggests that Will Smith is keen to be a part of the project as well.
“On one of his trips to Mumbai recently he spent an entire evening with Danny and Anil at Anil’s home. The three of them discussed the possibility of making a big budget film under Anil Kapoor’s production house. Will Smith who also has a production company may co-produce the film,” adds the source.
This is not the first time that Will Smith has shown interest in Bollywood. Previously the Hollywood actor has shown immense interest in working with Aishwarya Rai. He had even offered her the lead role in Hitch which eventually went to Eva Mendes.
