Shahid Kapoor is in for a complete image makeover, this time under the hands of veteran director Vishal Bhardwaj who is known for having hard hitting and raw characters in his typical non-glamorous films. So, we will have Shahid in some greyer shades for Vishal Bharadwaj’s “Kaminay“. This will be a complete contrast to Shahid’s cute and loverboy image in his previous films.?
A source close to the actor revealed, “Kaminay is typical Vishal Bharadwaj brand of cinema. The characters are devoid of any glamour. Even the locations are rustic and hard hitting. Keeping the entire mood of the story in mind, Shahid has a look of a guy who is absolutely raw, hard and tough.”?
The film is being shot in locations like Goregoan Station, Wadi, Bunder, Kandivali and many such locations in Pune that only add to Shahid’s rawness in the film.?
The source added, “Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminay succeeds in bringing across Shahid’s intensity and integrity as an actor.”?
Meanwhile, the gossip doing rounds is that Shahid is bonding just too well with co-star Priyanka Chopra on the sets of ‘Kaminay’. Apparently both Priyanka and Shahid spend hours and hours together chatting and laughing and there is no end to it yet. The couple incidentally lives in the same apartments, at Versova and also travel together for their shoots.?
Both the actors are vulnerable and emotionally insecure these days- Shahid owing to his breakup with Kareena Kapoor and Sania Mirza and Priyanka owing to the growing distance between her and Harman Baweja. How strong this bonding will grow, only time can tell.
