After being on the judge’s chair for two seasons of reality show "Nach Baliye" followed by the ongoing "Zara Nachke Dikha" on STAR One, model-turned-actress Malaika Arora Khan is set to judge another such show.
"I have another reality show to do after ’Zara Nachke Dikha’. The nitty gritties of the contract are still under discussion. It is dance-based as well," Malaika told us.
"Reality shows need a lot of energy and observation. It’s fun," she added.
Malaika started her career with television as a video jockey on MTV when she hosted popular shows like "Loveline" and "Select". Thereafter, she took to modelling and walking the ramp.
She returned to television as a judge for "Nach Baliye" in 2005. She also hosted a music reality show "Dhoom Macha De" for NDTV Imagine early this year.
Though she is being seen in several reality shows and calls herself a "TV girl", Malaika says she will never do a regular show on the small screen.
"I don’t think I am cut out for those shows. I am happy doing reality shows. I would also like to do a talk show but whenever that happens I will produce it on my own," she said.
The reality shows apart, Malaika is looking forward to her first full-length role as an actress opposite Arjun Rampal in Suniel Shetty’s "EMI" but also assured that she will continue doing television.
"The shooting for ’EMI’ is finished. I just have to do the dubbing now. But no matter how many films I do, I will still be a TV girl. I will continue to do both big screen and small screen," asserted Malaika.
The actress’ stint in Bollywood began with a dance number "Chhaiyan Chhaiyan" from the film "Dil Se" (1998) after which she did item numbers and cameos in films like "Kaal", "Kaante", "Bichhoo" and "Welcome".
