Just when it seemed that Rani’s career is headed to the gallows, the actress is back in the thick of action, shooting the Yashraj Films banner’s untitled film in Amritsar, Punjab.
The movie, being directed by debutant Anurag Singh, stars Shahid Kapur opposite Rani.
Rani has reportedly checked in at the M K Hotel in Amritsar where Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma stayed while shooting Aditya Chopra’s film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi a few days back.
Last weekend, Rani shot for Anurag’s movie at a stadium along with Rakhi Sawant and comedian Vrijesh Hirjee. The scene had Rani standing atop a truck and patriotically waving the Indian flag in support of the cricket team.
A huge crowd had gathered to see the shooting and Rani, particularly. In the crowd was also a local artist Rubal who came to present Rani a portrait of her.
The shooting is likely to continue for a few more days and Shahid Kapur is also expected to join the crew.
