80s sexy siren Zeenat Aman was seen at the launch party of Sherlyn Chopra’s Dard-E-Sherlyn in Delhi. Doing every bit to promote her music video, Sherlyn in her trademark skimpy clothes was gyrating to the numbers from her album. Quite impressed by her antics, the veteran actress, Zeenat said, “I think she is a very talented young lady.” That she couldn’t say anythgin beyond those few words is a different issue.
The album is supposed to be a tribute to the beautiful and classy Hema Malini. It’s been dedicated to her by Sherlyn. We wonder why she was missing from the party then. Sherlyn says quite nonchalantly, “Well, I guess she is not too happy about the tribute.” Er, she sure has no reason to be upset, Sherlyn!
Noted film producer Jagmohan Mundhra was also present at the do. Known to promote his heroines in a bold and sexy manner, even he seemed quite impressed (?) by the bindaas babe. “She is a free spirited woman. It’s her choice how she wants to present herself. To stand out in the crowd, it is very important and she is doing her bit,” stated Mundhra.
Known for her d(b)aring stunts on screen, she is quite upset with the censor board for working over time on her video. “If you play the uncensored video and play one of Madonna’s or Jennifer Lopez’s videos, it is in the same league. So what’s the big deal? I guess, it was just too good to be true for them. The video was meant for adults, but now it is very bachcha stuff,” sighs Sherlyn.
According to the buzz, Sherlyn is slated to feature in Yash Raj Films’ project with Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee. And before you jump to conclusions, it is not in an item song. Sherlyn says, “It is not an item song and neither is it a blink-and-you-will-miss-it role.” Does she believe that even if it was a cameo, people would miss it?
