Salman Khan attends the premiere of Aamir Khan’s Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. In return, Aamir agrees to participate in Sallu’s show Dus Ka Dum. Amitabh Bachchan lets go of all past malice and attends the same premiere. Then Aamir contemplates casting the Big B in his next film. In Bollywood, everything is about give and take. If you agree to do a favour, it’s probably in return for another. So what happens when an actor gets turned down by a counterpart? All hell breaks loose, of course.
Ajay Devgan and Saif Ali Khan, who shared a special bond since acting together in Kachche Dhaage, are no longer friends. According to sources, Saif refused to do a cameo in Ajay’s directorial debut, U, Me Aur Hum. Then there’s Aamir and Akshaye Khanna. The latter turned down Aamir’s Taare Zameen Par and things soured between the two since. The latest is Sanjay Dutt being irked with Sallu as he turned down Dutt’s film, a remake of the Hollywood flick, Ghostbusters. Salman’s refusal has left Sanju hurt as he had gone out of his way to promote Sohail Khan’s debut film, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya.
According to the buzz, the recent spat between Sallu and Shah Rukh Khan happened because there was animosity in the former’s heart. Apparently, despite Salman doing a cameo for SRK’s Om Shanti Om, the latter refused a special appearance for Sallu’s Main Aur Mrs Khanna. Looks like, in Bollywood, only a friend in need is a friend in deed.
