Last time the sexy Mallika Sherawat surprised us with her portrayal of a girl-next-door character of Trisha in PNC’s Pyaar Ke Side Effects , much against her seductive image. However in her next PNC film Ugly aur Pagli she does just the opposite.
Says a person closely associated with the film, “We have seen films about girl-next-door and smart boys, but in this film the makers have just flipped it. In Ugly aur Pagli Mallika Sherawat plays a hyperactive girl while Ranvir Shorey plays the boy-next-door”.
In the film Mallika Sherawat plays Kuhu who fits in as the Pagli of Ugly aur Pagli . She is impossible, incorrigible but irresistible. Ranvir Shorey plays Kabir and qualifies for the Ugly of Ugly aur Pagli . He's the nerd: goofy, charming, desperately trying to escape Pagli's clutches and, in the process, falling even more miserably in love with her.
Going with the hyperactive character of Pagli whenever Mallika gets upset in the film with Ranvir, rather than sulking like the girl-next-door, she slaps. By the end of the film Mallika eventually slapped Ranvir so many times that Rangita and Mallika jokingly said that the tag line for the film should be "99 slaps and 1 kiss."
Talking about kiss, how can a Mallika Sherawat film elude a smooch-scene? Now we have seen the slap snaps. Waiting to see the kissing scene! Rumours are rife that this one’s really steamy!!
