Jeyam Ravi- starrer Dham Dhoom, which was halted by the sudden death of its director Jeeva, has been successfully completed now.Jeeva’s associates Manikandan and Rajasekar managed to complete the remaining portion of the movie.
Talking to HosurOnline.Com, Jeyam Ravi, said, ‘Jeeva’s death was a major blow to us. However with his blessings, the crew has managed to complete the movie. It has come good and hopefully audience will love it’.
Describing Jeeva as a ‘rare genius;, Ravi said, we shot the movie in interior villages of Tamilnadu and the busy streets of Russia. The movie is technically rich with slick editing and phenomenal background score’.
Kangana Ranaut and Lakshmi Rai play the heroines.Says Lakshmi Rai, ‘Jeeva gave me a new image in the industry and it was a pleasure to shoot with the unit.’
On his part, music director Harris Jayaraj said, ‘I didn’t realise that I would be doing the music of this film all alone because I usually would sit and do it in the company of Jeeva. It was a very emotional moment for me to work in the movie’.
Kangana says, ‘I really miss him (Jeeva) though I only shot with him for 20 days. I loved his honesty and dedication towards his work and the compassion he had for his unit members.
After seeing his working style and approach, I decided to continue my career in Tamil.’ Casino Royale- fame stunt director Chris Anderson is handling the action portion along with stunt master Kanal Kannan.
Producers Media One Global Entertainment Ltd, Ayngaran International and Metro Films have extended all their support to complete the project.
